"City Of Angels," Bangkok is the largest city in

Thailand and its capitol. Home to more than

9 million residents, Bangkok is a bustling urban

center with abundant modern development.

Bangkok is the gateway to the Far East and millions

of tourist make the journey each year.

city in the world for street food.  If you are

feeling less adventurous, there are a number of

than 8,000 retail stalls and over 200,000 weekend

visitors may prove to be worth exploring. Bangkok 

has a tropical climate and can be quite warm. Many

consider the best time to visit is from late November 

thru March. Accommodations range from the modest

to the more luxurious and advance reservations are

recommended. The elephant is the National symbol

of Thailand and considered sacred. White elephants

are  the symbol of Thailand's Monarchy.
