 www.theglobaldigital.com                   Remarkable Russia

One only has to look at the history of Russia to

see the remarkable resilience of it's people and

her ability to constantly evolve, from the Grand Duchy

of Moscow, followed by Tsars, the Soviet Union, and

now the Russian Federation.

The people of Russia are a fun loving, warm lot, enjoying

a higher standard of living than many of their ancestors.

The new more diverse economy (oligarchs included) has

grown to a powerhouse of innovation and has made Moscow

home to more billionaires than in any other place in the world. (Forbes)

In size or square miles Russia is the largest country in the world,

so planning travel to Russia  you may want to limit your itinerary

to specific destinations.  Depending on where you choose to dine

the food in Russia can range from bland to cosmopolitan. If you

are in Moscow many of the eateries are open 24 hours and offer

world class cuisine from Russian favorites such as Shashlyk a

Russian shish kebab made with meat and onion to the more gourmet.

Russia is a northern nation and it may snow as early as September or

as late as May. Most visitors favor summer as the best time to visit

Russia, and others claim that Russia is most beautiful in December when it

transforms into a winter wonderland-(pack accordingly).
